EFITA Congress 2017 - Calls for demonstrations and papers for IN-OVIVE 2017

Demonstrations. A new service, software, technology developed or under development?

The on-line demonstration submission is open until April, 18 th on www.efita2017.org/submit . A new service, software, technology developed or under development? Submit your demonstration and present it during 2017 EFITA Congress. The accepted demonstrations will be presented in plenary. Also, if you wish and if your demonstration is accepted, you could book a stand on Wednesday afternoon (July, 5 th ) and benefit from communication via a press release. Call is for researchers and companies. The acceptance of a demonstration will be decided based on a specific form that includes an abstract of the demonstration.

IN-OVIVE 2017 on sources and data integration in agriculture, food and environment using ontologies

The 5 th Edition of the workshop IN-OVIVE is hosted this year by 2017 EFITA Congress. This workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners that are dealing with theoretical, methodological, experimental and application-oriented aspects of knowledge and data integrationusing ontologies applied to agriculture, food and environment. It aims to serve as a discussion forum where researchers and interested experts will present the results of their work, and may establish new collaboration. About EFITA

EFITA was launched and is supported by the European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture, Food and the Environment (EFITA). The first EFITA was held in 1997, and 2017 is the 11th of the series. The beautifull city of Montpellier, France, had the pleasure to welcome the event already in 2001 and is most happy to do it again. We hope  you will enjoy the event in the pleasant site of the renowned Montpellier Supagro school. We will make our best to provide a nice atmosphere for knowledge sharing and thinking the future of ICT technologies within the agri-food and bioresource sectors. We welcome proposals of related events such as project meetings and ICT demonstrations to take place within the conference schedule and facilities. Special sessions may also be proposed. ICT-AGRI will presumably conduct a workshop at the congress. Please contact the organizing committee if you are also interested in organizing a spezial session. A technical tour to ICT in agriculture and territory management will be organized at the end of the conference (july 6th).
