Tekes – the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation
Tekes funding is available for companies registered in Finland and for other corporate entities involved in economic activities. Grants and loans may be awarded if the project is research-based and the new innovations it is aiming at depend on markets that are not yet developed.
The grant is usually 35-50 % and the loan 50-70% of eligible cost for SMEs. Large companies may receive grants of 25-35 % of the projects’ eligible costs. Very large and internationally networked projects may receive grants up to 50 % of eligible costs.
