Departmental research projects were focussed on areas such as Ticks and tick-borne disease, Wildbees, Honeybees and Honeybee viruses, Alg and diatome biology and culture, biochemistry of membrane fatty acids in fungi, insects and humans, development and testing molecules for anti-tumor activity. </p><p><strong>Facility:</strong> Modern Research Laboratories of biochemistry, molecular biology, hydrobiology, entomology, microbiology and zoology.</p><p><strong>Priority:</strong> Education, Research & Development in various areas of biology including biochemistry, molecular biology, hydrobiology, entomology, zoology and botany. </p>
