Department of Artificial Intelligence and Systems Engineering (DAISE) is working in the following areas:

-artificial intelligence (mainly, intelligent agents and multi-agent systems, agent-based software engineering, knowledge representation, including ontology engineering);
robotics (including multi-robot systems);
-systems theory (holistic approach to complex problem and system analysis, intelligent systems for complex system analysis and modelling using structural modelling approach, Viable Systems Model);
-software engineering.
