Criteria for Latvian participants: Criteria for project funding are applied in line with the Regulation of the Council of Ministers No 414 on procedure for providing support for participation in international cooperation programs for research and technology and provisions of Commission Regulation (EC) No 800/2008 of 6 August 2008 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the common market in application of Articles 87 and 88 of the Treaty. For applicants a maximum of 140 000 euros can be  per 2-years project. Eligible participants: Universities, research institutes and RTD centres listed in the register of research institutions operated by the Ministry of Edcuation and Science. SMEs are eligible for funding if registered in the Registry of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia and provide most of its activities in the Republic of Latvia. Eligible costs for Research and development: Personell (including social tax) Consumables Subcontracts (Normally 10% from project costs, with detailed justification up to 25%) Equipment (only depreciation) Travel Other costs Indirect costs (normally 10%, with detailed justification up to 20%).
