BMEL will only fund Theme 1 projects. The maximum amount per project is 80.000 €.
Eligible costs are:
Person costs: 100%, permanent staff excluded
Travel and subsistence: 100%, according German Regulations (Bundesreisekostengesetz)
Consumables: 100%
Equipment: partly, due to German Regulations (according to depreciation allowance)
Subcontracting – according to German Regulations
Other costs: e.g. workshops – 100% if project related
Indirect costs: not – not any overheads
BMEL funding of the ICT-AGRI Call is based on §§23 and 44 BHO (Bundeshaushaltsordnung) and associated administrative regulations. The main items are as follows:
Proposed projects must be compatible with the above mentioned national announcement.
Funding will be awarded as non-repayable project grant.
The funding regulations, follow up and reporting of publicly funded projects are regulated according to ANBest (Allgemeine Nebenbestimmungen).
Eligible applicants are universities and research institutions domiciled in Germany. Research institutions, which receive basic financing, can be funded subject to specific conditions.
There will be a ranking according to national priorities.
