Turf Europe is a Spinoff of the University of Pisa (University of Pisa owns 10% of the Company) specializing in general Precision Farming and supplies highly specialized consultancy and research and development for companies involved in the Urban Green Areas industry. Ourr work is based on the solid scientific background gained by our staff through years of study and research in the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the University of Pisa and at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies (ITALY). We provide Consultancy and Research & Development in all areas of Precision Agriculture and Urban Green Areas. Our work also involves field test validation of private company’s products and technologies.
The goal of the services and activities of Turf Europe is the obtainment of high-quality, environmentally sustainable and economically viable urban green areas. These include several types of urban green areas: sports (football, golf, rugby, baseball, etc.), ornamental (parks and gardens), functional (roundabouts, corporate green areas) and environmental (industrial areas, slopes and river banks, etc.). Their Precision Farming experience has been accumulated through Precision Farming-related EU Projects and through day-to-day consulting activities.
