ESA - 2018 ‘Farming by Satellite’ Prize has launched

The ‘Farming by Satellite Prize’ is an initiative of the European GNSS Agency and the European Environment Agency, which aims at promoting the use of the European satellite systems EGNOS, Galileo and Copernicus in agriculture.

The competition has a top prize of 5000 EUR and is open to students and young people below 32 who have innovative answers to the question “How can we use satellite technologies to improve agriculture and reduce environmental impact?”.
