The school of Mechanical Engineering at DCU has a vibrant teaching and research background which is of particular relevance to the ICT/Agriculture sector. One of the flagship programmes delivered at undergraduate level is the Mechatronic engineering course. This programme is delivered jointly by the schools of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering at DCU. The programme at the moment is a level eight course but will soon be expanded to provide level 9 awards comparable to a taught master
