<p><strong>Expertise:</strong> Real-time control of processes involving many kind of sensors, including machine vision and spectroscopy. Multivariable data analysis, data mining. Examples: Robotics in outdoor conditions, automatic inspection of fruit and vegetables using machine vision, spraying machinery, greenhouse control. </p><p><strong>Facility:</strong> -Laboratory of electronics: we are able to build our own electronic boards and sensors -Laboratory of image analysis: we have different imaging and spectroscopy devices in the UV, visible and NIR range. We develope our own image analysis and control software -Close link to the agricultural sector in Spain, including not only farmers but also machinery manufacturers</p><p><strong>Priority:</strong> robotic harvesting of fruit and vegetables; automatic, non-destructive inspection of fruit quality; automatic control of environmental parameters in greenhouses and animal housing</p>
