ICT-AGRI meeting in Helsinki

Helsinki, 26-27th of October 2016.

The managing group of ICT-AGRI convened to agree upon the topic and the timing of the upcoming call of the ERA-NET.

This years' meeting was hosted by the Finnish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. They chose the splendid "Säätytalo" (House of Estates) in Helsinki as the meeting venue. An impressive location in a beautiful city, wouldn't you agree?

CASE reveals autonomous concept tractor

While self-driving technology has been gaining agricultural ground for years, CASE is taking a leap forward with the release of their self-driving concept tractor. The video below shows that ICT is NOT boring, that agriculture is NOT old-fashioned and that crossbreeding ICT and agriculture leads to some serious heterosis.
